Scope and topics:
Piezoelectric materials are essential components in a wide range of industrial and scientific applications, including non-destructive testing, energy harvesting, medical sensing and imaging. And piezoelectric acoustic devices, such as sensors, transducers and motors, have been a hotspot area in this field for several years. Relevant studies include the structural design, modeling, fabrications, characterization, integration, reliability analysis, and applications. In recent years, piezoelectric acoustic devices have shown a growing trend toward miniaturization, integration, high frequency and wearability. The development of piezoelectric materials and acoustic devices has ushered in great opportunities.
This symposium is dedicated to the discussion of new types of piezoelectric acoustic devices, material-device property relationships, and further applications of piezoelectric acoustic devices.
The topics for the symposium include (but are not limited to):
1) Piezoelectric acoustic devices: sensors, actuators, and transducers, etc.;
2) Piezoelectric acoustic device fabrications: design, modeling, simulation, manufacturing, characterization, integration, reliability analysis, etc.;
3) Piezoelectric acoustic device applications: medical diagnosis, non-destructive testing, acoustic arrays and holograms, metamaterials, wearable sensors, healthcare, etc.
