Organizers:
Zhiguo Yi (zhiguo@mail.sic.ac.cn; zhiguo@fjirsm.ac.cn), Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences
Scope and topics:
Ferroelectric materials are characterized by a spontaneous polarization that can be switched with an external electric field. Coupling ferroelectrics with light is an old and often new theme, the intriguing physicochemstry include photoelectric, photovoltaic, photostriction, photocatalysis, etc. To stimulate innovative research on ferroelectric under light field, this symposium solicits abstracts related to the diverse aspects of polar functional materials involving light, including but not limited to photovoltaic, photostriction, and photocatalysis, from either fundamental or application-oriented perspectives. The symposium will provide a unique platform for ferroelectric community from all over the world to exchange idea, share knowledges and demands.
The topics of this session will include but not limit to:
- Photovoltaics
- Photostriction
- Photocatalysis in ferroelectrics
